Privacy Policy
FocusGrid is made by A&M Labs. This policy describes the app as it actually behaves. If that changes, this page changes with it.
The short version
FocusGrid stores your habits and your name on your device. We do not run a server, there is no account system, and we cannot see your habits. The only information that leaves your phone is what Google Play needs to process a subscription, if you buy one.
What the app stores on your device
All of this is kept in the app's private storage and is never sent to us:
- Your habits — the name you typed, the emoji you picked, whether it repeats daily or weekly, the reminder time, and the dates you checked it off
- Your name, if you entered one during setup — used only to greet you on the home screen
- Your preferences — accent colour, appearance mode, language, and whether you have completed onboarding
Uninstalling FocusGrid deletes all of it.
Backups
If you have Android's backup enabled, Google may copy your habits, your name and your preferences to your Google account as part of your device backup, so that a new phone or a reinstall restores them. That copy is governed by Google's privacy policy, not this one. You can turn device backup off in your Android settings.
Purchases
If you subscribe to FocusGrid Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, see, or store your card number, bank details, billing address, or any other payment information — Google processes your payment directly, and that information never reaches us or passes through our systems.
We use RevenueCat to tell the app whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier, the details of the transaction, and basic device and app version information. It does not receive your name or your habits. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Notifications
Habit reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. Nothing about them is transmitted anywhere.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo access
Children
FocusGrid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you control it directly: edit or delete any habit in the app, or uninstall to remove everything. For anything held by our processors — that is, subscription records at RevenueCat — email us and we will action a deletion request.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will change and the updated version will be published here before the change takes effect.
